Meet the Board!

Sara Pelkey
President
First, thank you for being here and for taking the time to learn more about the incredible women who serve on the TWC board. My name is Sara Pelkey, and I grew up nearby in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire. I’ve lived and worked in the Monadnock Region throughout my twenties, where I’ve had the opportunity to connect with inspiring women and deepen my understanding of what our communities truly need.
Through those experiences, a few things became clear: service, connection, and heart matter deeply—and we could always use more of them. I’m the owner of The Roaming Road, where I lead local and international retreats, teach yoga, and offer one-on-one Aliveness Coaching. At the core of all of this is my passion for people, which is also what led to the creation of The Women’s Collective.
When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me hiking in the mountains, traveling, enjoying live music, or curled up with my dog, Thunder.
Thank you for taking a moment to learn about our community. We hope you find connection and joy here.

Sarah Koch
Vice President
Sarah is a mother of two who is deeply rooted in community, connection, and care. Based in Peterborough, she is a yoga teacher, embodied relationship coach, and spiritual guide who creates welcoming spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and feel a sense of belonging.
Sarah is the founder of RAD Intimacy, a coaching practice inspired by the things that she enjoys most: personal growth, nature connection, mindfulness practice, and curious conversation. Her work weaves together embodiment, relational awareness, and healing-centered facilitation to support individuals and groups through growth and transition.
She co-hosts That’s So Intimate, a podcast that explores relationships, spirituality, and modern life with curiosity, humor, and heart. Through real conversations, the show invites listeners to reflect more deeply on how they live, love, and connect.
In addition to her professional work, Sarah serves on the Town of Peterborough’s Inclusive Community Committee, where she helps support efforts to foster belonging, equity, and connection for all.

Jackie Brown
Treasurer
I grew up in Salisbury MA and was lucky enough to be a beach and ocean girl! Boating, fishing and swimming were a huge part of my younger years. I attended New England College where I played field hockey and graduated with a B.S in Exercise Physiology. Being an athlete my whole life I knew I wanted to do something to help people live their best quality of life. I have been a long time field hockey coach and I am the Community Relations Director at American House Senior Living, where I help new residents and their families with a smooth and welcoming transition into their new home and next chapter in life.
I am deeply rooted in the Keene community. I have served on many committees and I thrive off of working with others. I am an empath and I care deeply about people, I cherish relationships and I love to empower others, especially women!
Outside of my professional life you can find me outdoors most of the time. I enjoy movement, whether it's going out for a run, taking a day trip to walk the beach, hiking with my dogs, golfing, or exploring new places. I enjoy traveling with my partner, Scott and I have an adventurous passion for riding my Harley!

Secretary
I’m a proud mom of two, living locally with my family and our two dogs. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me hiking nearby trails, soaking up fresh air, volunteering, or spending meaningful time with the people I love most. I value being present and making space for both creativity and quiet moments.
I rarely turn down an opportunity for great food, museum visits, shopping, going to the beach, or a spontaneous day trip to Boston. Whether it’s exploring a new place or enjoying simple everyday moments, I’m energized by experiences that bring people together.
Professionally, my work is grounded in relationships and a genuine commitment to supporting others. I care deeply about people, community, and creating environments where individuals feel valued and supported—principles that guide both my personal life and my professional path.

Communications Coordinator
A native of Swanzey now living in Keene with my husband and two children, I hold a B.S. in Environmental Science and an A.S. in Interior Design. This background informs my lifestyle rooted in urban homesteading and sustainability.
Professionally, I am an administrative specialist and a multi-disciplinary instructor at Everglow Wellness, where I teach yoga, group fitness, and practice as a Reiki Master. When I am not in the studio, I am the owner and head beekeeper of Honey Hill Homestead & Apiary, advocating for pollinator protection and education while trying to stay on the bees' good side.
My commitment to service began in high school with Big Brothers Big Sisters and remains a central pillar of my life. I am fiercely passionate about supporting women, single mothers, and children through programs that provide tangible community impact. -

Ashley Nesbitt-Hart
Events Coordinator
I grew up running wild in Winchester, NH and now live in Keene with my husband, Anthony, our rescue pups, Boss and Milly, and our cat, Winston! I have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Forensic Science from Loyola University New Orleans and am a Certified Group Exercise Instructor, Barre Instructor, and 500HR Registered Yoga Teacher. I own Everglow Wellness, a boutique fitness studio right here in Keene.
When I’m not teaching I can be found with my head stuck in a book, causing a ruckus with my sisters or playing pet-parents with my husband. We spend a ton of our time renovating our dream home and walking the pups in the woods. I am never without a smile and love to teach all things ridiculous and silly - especially booty classes! I fully believe that exercise should be an emotional release as well as a physical one and training women is my forte.
I am a girl’s girl through and through and truly believe the world is a better place because of women. Communities thrive because of the ingenuity and collective care that women bring to the table and I am always on board to help cultivate more of that energy in our lovely region!

Membership Coordinator
I’m a nurse educator and community builder who loves creating spaces where people feel supported, seen, and genuinely welcomed. Whether I’m guiding new nurses through their first days or helping women join our collective, I focus on clarity, warmth, and making sure people feel like they belong.
I’m at my best when I’m blending structure with heart — turning complex processes into something intuitive, designing communication that feels personal, and adding small touches that make an experience feel human. I love bringing harmony to the details, whether it’s a training, a presentation, or a handwritten note.
Animals are a huge part of my joy, especially my two‑year‑old black Lab, Auggie, who keeps me grounded, laughing, and always moving. Caring for him reminds me daily of the kind of presence I want to bring into every space: steady, warm, and full of curiosity.
I also find deep meaning in exploring the world — traveling, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, and connecting with nature in all its forms. Those moments of discovery remind me how much beauty, wisdom, and generosity this world has to offer, and they shape the way I show up for others.
At my core, I’m someone who believes in connection — between people, ideas, cultures, and communities — and I try to make every interaction a little more meaningful, a little more manageable, and a little more kind.
